Primark S/S 09

Ülkemizde uygulanan ama 2009 yılı içersinde kalkacağı söylenen Çin kotası sonrasında ülkemize gelmesi beklenen İngiltere'nin uygun fiyatlı sokak modası markalarından Primark'ın yaz koleksiyonuna küçük bir bakış atalım istedim, renkli, cıvıl cıvıl ve tam yazlık.

In english: Britain's one of the biggest high street fashion brand Primark is expected to be here after 2009. Before they are here, I want to take a glimpse at their S/S 09 look book which seems very colorful, fresh and summery.

Günaydın :)) Bugün akşama kadar post yapma imkanım olmayacağı için, sabah fotograf çekip size göstermek istedim. Sonunda Opi'yi elimde görme zamanı geldi. Şunu diyebilirim ki yapısı çok ince, 3 katta bu rengi elde edebildim. Alta 1 kat da baz sürmeme rağmen hemen kuruyarak ve dünden beri hiç bozulmayarak su ana kadar iyi not aldı, bir de 3-4 gün sonraki durumuna bakmak gerek. Rengine gelince beton grisi değil, şişede göründüğü gibi biraz kahve-gri diyebiliriz, sevgili yeşile de benzetti, ben rengi tam istediğim gibi olmadığı için 10 üzerinden 8 veriyorum.

In english: Morning :)) Today I'll be out and won't have a chance to post ' till evening so I took the photo just to show you the result sooner. I tried my new nail polish you don't know Jacques by Opi. I can say that the texture is very sheer, I had to apply 3 times to get this shade. I had a base first so it makes 4 layers but it look a little time to dry which is perfect. I wonder if there will be any chipping after 3-4 days. Regarding to colour it's not gray gray, it's brownish gray as seen from the bottle, my bf also commented that the shade looks green sometimes. I think if it was more grayish , this brand and colour deserves 10 but in this case it's 8 out of 10 :)

In english: Nooo, Zara. Zara has just copied the iconic studded Balmains from their S/S 09 collection that everbody wants to have. They look cheap and the thights just make the look worse. What do you think?

In english: I look like an old Turkish movie star with that outfit, who is famous at 70's. In english : This oufit supposed to be posted yesterday but I am very busy at work lately. I tried something fun with my outfit but I can say most of them are old. I bought the plaid skirt almost 5 years ago, the shirt also an oldie, the flats are kind of new and it's the first time I've used that bow pin. Nesli geçenlerde yaptığı yorumda kahverengi çorap ve bilekte bot için öneriler istemişti. Nesli'nin stilini, bot ve çorabın tarzlarını, tonlarını ve tiplerini bilmesem de zamanım elverdiğince çeşitli kaynaklara bakındım ve ortalama fikir verebilecek olanlardan hoşuma gidenleri toparladım. Pantolonların dışında, desenli veya duz elbiseler, etek-üst kombinler, bazen de şortlar, bu ikisini giyebilmek için ideal. Renk olarakta toprak tonları, yeşil tonları, sarı ve turuncu tonları, gri, fusya ve lacivert ve mavi tonları kullanılabilir. Yalnız sunu farkettim ki, Nesli başka bir renk konusunda fikir istemiş olsaydın işim çok daha kolay olurdu çünkü kahverengi çorapla kombin yapan ben de dahil olmak üzere, siyah, gri, kırmızı.. vs çorap kadar fazla değil. Tum kombinler bire bir değil ama pek ala ayakkabılar ve çizmeler, bilekte botla yer değiştirebilir, çorapların renkleri kahverengi olabilir, karıştır ve kendine uygun olanı seç :) Kendi giydiklerimden de bakındım ve bu kombinin kahverengi bot ve çorapla tamamlanabileceğini dusundum.

In english: One of the readers "Nesli " asked me about combining of brown stockings and ankle boots that she had bought. Since I don't have any idea of either her style or the boots'/stockings' styles, colours ..etc , I looked through the net and found some different examples that I like. Other than the pants, she can combine them with plain or patterned dresses, with skirts and tops or even with shorts. Regarding to colour choices, the earth tones, greens, yellow or orange tones, gray, fushia, navy or blue shades would be usefull. During my research, I've realized that it's not easy to find outfits with brown stockings as black, gray or red stockings, there are very few people use that colour. All of the outfits shown here are not the exact matches but she can manage her look altering shoes with ankle boots or changing colour of the stockings, it depends on Nesli's wardrobe and taste :) I also looked through my outfits and I only can find this one that can be worn with brown hosiery and ankle boots.

Kırmızı dudaklar

Bu haftasonu yine dışarlardaydım ama fotograf çekecek zamanım olmadı. Bugunun fotografsız geçmesini de istemediğimden, daha önce cekilmiş ama aklımdan ucup gitmiş bu fotoyu sizinle paylaşacağım. Bu biraz detay fotografı, her zamankinden farklı olsun istemiştim, sevdiğim bir tişörte ait. H&M'in 2008 yılında çıkarttığı Fashion Against AIDS koleksiyonundan, Jade Jagger tarafından tasarlanan siyah ustunde kırmızı dudakların yer aldığı bu tişört favorilerimden.

Fancy Pants

Yeni sezon yaklaşırken öne çıkan pantolon detaylarını Net-a-porter bizim için derlemiş, çokta iyi yapmış. Bahar alışverişine başlamadan once, işte hangi tip pantolonu nasıl giyeceğinizle ilgili ipuçları.

Zafer benimdir :)

Bir süredir blogca gri oje aradığımızı biliyorsunuz. Dun arkadasıma, "bugun gri oje avına çıkalım" dedim. Millet zengin koca avına falan çıkar, biz oje, ilgi meselesi :) Neyse, Nişantası Tekin Acar ve Sevil Parfumeri elemanlarının saskın bakışlarına aldırmadan, oralarda aradığımızı bulamayarak Astoria Sephora'ya yollandık. Bir dergide Sephora marka gri ojeyi 7 ytl ye gormuştum, satıcı çocuğa bunu dediğimizde ha ne gri mi falan diyerek bize garip bakışlar fırlatması gozumuzden kaçmadı. Derken arkaya doğru yol aldık, Opi'nin burda satıldığını biliyorduk, gene bilindik renkler vardı ve orda koyu renkte bir sey çarptı gozumuze, ben bu ne kahverengi galiba dedim, arkadasım yok bu gri dedi, ismine baktık aa bu pek çok dergi ve sitede çıkan " You don't know Jacques" tı. Sevinçle tek kalan ojeyi ( 23 tl) aldık ve listeden bir şeyi daha çıkartmış olduk. Ojenin rengi tam gri diyemeyiz daha çok füme gibi, tam sonucu sürdürünce göreceğiz.

In english: On a day like this someone supposed to get a day off. There is nothing interesting today, even there is no sunshine. Some of the readers were asking me if I wear any sweaters, can I say I do? Does this count? Hat with a side bow, is a good solution when you can't manage your hair. When I wear hats like this, I feel like people on the street are really curious about what is underneath and they try to make an eye contact with you, does this ever happen to you?

Konusu ne olursa olsun dokumanter filmleri hep sevmişimdir, hele bir de Lagerfeld Sırları gibi içinde moda olursa, işte o muhteşem olur. "The September Issue" R.J. Cutler tarafından yönetilen, 2009 Sundance film festivalinde gösterilen, Vogue'un Prada giyen seytan editörü Anna Wintour ve ekibinin 2008 Eylül sayısını hazırlarken yaşadıklarını anlatan bir belgesel. Bilirsiniz eylül sayıları kışa girildiğinden malzeme ve içerik açısından zengin, boyutları yaklasık bir ansiklopedi kadardır :)


Çoğumuza göre kapalı bir kutu olan, Amerika ve moda dunyasının en güçlü kadınlarından Anna Wintour ve moda severlerin kutsal kitabı Vogue ile ilgili bize farklı kapılar açacağından emin olduğum ve her dakikasını ilgiyle izleyeceğim bu filmi gerçekten merak ediyorum.




In english: I always like documentaries, especially if they are about fashion world like Lagerfeld Confidential. "The September Issue" was one of the films that was shown at Sundance Film Festival, which directed by R.J. Cutler . The movie takes us behind the scenes with Vogue's legendary editor-in -chief Anna Wintour and her team's preparations for the fall 2008 issue. Since it's the beginning of a new season, as you all know the september issues are rich in content and ads, they are pretty much in size of an encyclopaedia :)


For most of us including myself, this most powerfull woman of America and fashion world is still a mystery so it makes me to see this movie more. I am sure it will give us the juiciest details about her and fashion lovers mecca "Vogue".

Yeni ayakkabılarım

Havalar güzel, bende de daha bir güzel giyinme isteği var. Bugun yine dolabımda gün yüzü görmemiş parçalarla sizi buluşturuyorum. Biraz layering yaptım, üst üste giyindim hatta kısa deri ceketin altına, daha uzun hırka giydim ( kısa siyah hırkamı hala bulamıyorum :( ), en beğendiğim modellerden biri olan Natasha Poly'de gormustum o pantolonla yapmıştı, ben etekle ama aynadaki görüntü beni rahatsız etmedi. Tshirtu en son Barcelona'da giymiştim sanırım, eteği yaz indiriminde almıştım, bugune kadar dolaptaydı, kıyafetin en can alıcı yanı olan ayakkabılarda zevk sahibi sevgilinin yine Paris'ten bana getirdiği bir hediye ( Ordan sanırım sizinle daha paylaşmadığım sadece 1 parça kaldı), farklı ve hoş seçiminden dolayı ona koca bir alkış, ofiste de pek beğenildi :) Keşke daha iyi fotograflarla size sunabilseydim ama şartlar :(

Çekimden sonra boynuma ince siyah bir atkı attım ve evden çıktım.

In english: The good weather conditions tickles me to wear better outfits. Today, I wear some items in my closet which you haven't seen before. I did some layering, I wore a longer cardigan (ı still can't find my short black cardi :( )under my leather jacket like I saw on one of favorite models Natasha Poly. She did that with trousers , I did it with skirt but my reflection on the mirror didn't bother me. Anyways I haven't been wearing this tee since my Barcelona visit, the frill skirt was in my closet since summer Zara sale. The crucial and best part of the outfit is the shoes which my boyfriend got me as a gift from Paris. He deserves kudos with this colorful and lovely shoes. I wish I would present this nice outfit with better photos.

Müge'nin isteği üzerine" bonibon " yüzüğün yakın çekimi huzurlarınızda :) Çekim gerçekten zor oldu, yüzük az kalsın küçük oğluma yem olacaktı, ağzından zor kurtardım :))

Bir önceki kıyafetin çogunluk tarafından beğenilmesi üzerine, bugunle ilgili üzerimde bir baskı oluştuğunu itiraf etmeliyim ama bir süre sonra bundan kurtulup ne istiyorsam onu giydim :) Bugunkü seçimlerin ana belirleyicileri uzun süredir giymediğim oxford ayakkabılarım ve dışardaki güneş ışığı oldu. Bazılarını siz ilk kez görecek olsanız da üzerimdeki hiç bir şey yeni değil, dolaptakileri kullanmaya devam. Neden çantamı öyle tuttuğumu, paltomun neden koyu pembe gibi görünmediğini veya bacaklarımın neden normalden kalın göründüğünü tam çözemesem de, bugun ben bunları giydim:

In english: The previous outfit had many positive comments so I felt under pressure a little bit for today's look but it's just last some minutes and I decided to wear whatever I felt like. :) The indicators for today's choice are my oxford flats which I haven't been wearing for quite some time and a little bit sunshine outside. Although some of the items I'm wearing are new to you, nothing is new and unfortunately I am still channelling recessionista :p . I don't know why I was holding my bag like that, why my coat looks reddish than hot pink or why my legs looks thicker than usual, here is what I wore today:
