Loads of style from Coachella 2009

Coachella! Benim gibi açık hava müzik festivallerine bayılan birisi için ölmeden önce yapılması gerekenler listesinde bu festivale gitmek. Güzel müziğin, güneşli hava ve her tarzdan insanla harmanlandığı bu festivalden seçimler bir araya getirdim sizin ve tabi ki kendim için. Bol bol vintage, gladyatör sandaletler, kocaman gözlükler, kısa elbiseler, jean şortlar, tulumlar, Doc Marten botlar, çapraz çantalar, parlak renkler.. bu senenin en çok tercih edilenleri arasında. Bu sene olmadı ama seneye bekle beni Coachella!

Coachella! For a music festival freak like me,to go the that festival is on the bucket list. For you and ofcourse for myself, I've gathered some festival style from this event, where good music meets, sunny weather and stylish people from every kind. A lot of vintage, gladiator sandals, biggest sunnies, mini dresses, jean shorts, jumpsuits, Doc Martens, cross over bags and bright colors were the other stars of this year. Maybe it's not this year but see you next year Coachella!

Not without my hat

Cumartesi sabah 09:30'da başlayan telefon görüşmelerinden evde oturmayacağımız belli olmuştu. Üzerime pek de matah olmayan bir şeyler giydim, saçlarımı şekle sokmak giyinmekten uzun süreceğinden ve "yine" geç kaldığımdan bir şapka geçirdim kafama ama kırmızı rujumu sürmekten geri kalmadım :) . Ne kadar da özenirim, düzgün sürülmüş, kırmızı rujuyla dolaşan insanlara, onların imzası gibi olur ya bu kırmızı rujlar mesela Krystal gibi. Ben onlardan değilim ama ara sıra deniyorum işte. Bir İstiklal Caddesi turu, görmek istediğimiz ancak o gün bittiğini öğrendiğimiz bir fotoğraf sergisi hezimetinin ardından, istikameti Cihangir'e çevirdik. Oralarda oturan bir kız arkadaşımızı da olaya dahil ederek, güneşli bir öğleden sonrasının keyfini doyasıya çıkarttık, Starbucks'ta içilen kahvelerin ardından, gece programımız için enerji toplamak amacıyla evlerimize dağıldık.

It was so obvious from the phone traffic at 09:30 that we wouldn't stay at home last saturday . I grabbed not so good things to wear and realised it will take more time to fix my hair than picking my clothes so I put a hat on because I was late "again". However, I didn't forget to wear my redlipstick. I always envy people with decent redlips , it's like their signature like lovely Krystal. I'm not one of those girlz but I rarely try red lips . We had a tour at Istiklal Street, went to an photo exibition which was a disaster because we missed it with one day and we end up in Cihangir. We called one of our best friends who lives around and enjoyed a sunny afternoon. After having coffee at Starbucks, we dispersed to our homes to gain energy for the evening programme.

Rosy Helena

Helena Christensen hoş kadındır, hoşta bir tarzı vardır., Chris Isaak'in "Wicked Game" klibiyle haklı olarak, en az şarkı kadar hafızalamıza yer etmiştir. En son, 1st Annual Blossom Ball'da gecenin adıyla uyum içersindeki Thakoon lila üzerine, gül desenli elbisesi ile gözüme çarptı, ne kadar renkli ve iç açıcı değil mi? Saç rengi ve sade makyajını da sevdim, bravo Helena güzel olduğun kadar zevklisin de :) .

Helena Christensen is a nice looking woman and she has a nice style, too. I'm sure all of you remember her from Chris Isaak's video " Wicked Game", she was as unforgettable as the song itself. Lately, I saw her pictures from the 1st Annual Blossom Ball, with a dress that's very harmonious with the event's name, a rose print number from Thakoon. How colorful and heart warming is that dress? I love her hair colour and her simple make up, too. Congrats to Helena, she's stylish as she's beautiful :).

Lacivert trençkotun varsa, buraya

Sevgili K.'nın lacivert trençkotunu nasıl kombinleyeceğini sorduğu yorumu üzerine kendisine uygun olabileceğini düşündüğüm sonuçlara ulaştım. K. öğretmen olduğu için bazı kısıtlamaları olduğunu söylese de, farklı ve daha spor kombinler için hafta sonu ve iş çıkışları var öyle değil mi? :) Lacivert benim pek tercih etmediğim bir renk, nedense ona karşı biraz önyargılıyım, aslında olmamam lazım çünkü artık her renk, her renkle giyilebiliyor, yeter ki sonuç göze hoş görünsün :). Kırmızı, beyaz, mavi tonları, bej tonları, pembe tonları, siyah ( Evet, doğru gördünüz) .. bu renkle kullanılabilir, desenli elbiselerle kullanımını da beğendiğimi söylersem yanlış olmaz sanırım. Bu klasik parçayla oluşturulan kombinleri sevecek ve pek çoğu ile birlikte güzel görüneceğine inandığım kırmızı ruju, siz de yakıştıracak mısınız?

One of my readers "K. " asked me how to combine her navy trench and ofcourse I have some suggestions. She told me that she works as a teacher so there are some regulations about their outfits at school but for what are the weekends and evenings for? :) She can choose her clothes freely during these periods of time. I'm a little bit biased against navy that I shouldn't be. There're no restrictions about mixing colours anymore, anything can go together well, "the outcome" is important. Red, white,blue, nude, pink tones and even black are great with navy, I also like patterned dresses together. In my opinion red lips would be great with some of the outfits, is that also your opinion?

It's so nice not to wear heavy coats anymore, one by one I'll wear all my jackets in the wardrobe, that's what I've been waiting for :) . My collection of things with fringes are expanding, I bought these lovely boots a few weeks ago . They are not only beautful but comfy, too.
