Dünden bugüne ayakkabı

Yürüyen sanat, ayakkabı sergisi" olur da benim blogumda yer almaz mı? Cumartesi günü tesadüfen gittiğimiz Cevahir AVM'nin en alt katında ayakkabının günümüze kadar süre gelen öyküsünü anlatan sergiyi gezdik, ayakkabıları sanat eseri haline getiren bazı markalar eksik olsa da keyifliydi. Emilio Pucci, Christian Lacroix, Marc Jacobs, Celine, Givenchy..sergide bulunan markalardan ilk aklıma gelenler. Bugün giydiğimiz gladyatör sandaletlerimizin anaları Roma sandaletleri, 60 ve 70'lerden örnekler ve en çokta Givenchy'nin 08-09 kış sezonuna ait olan benim de çok beğendiğim kafesli ayakkabı favorilerimiz oldu.

If I saw an exibition called "Walking art, shoe exibition" in town,there's no chance that I wouldn't mention it in my blog. Remember I told you ourCevahir shopping mall trip on sunday, we found that this exibition was located on the ground floor. It was nice although we thought some brands were missing who were really good at creating walking art. Emilio Pucci, Christian Lacroix, Marc Jacobs, Givency.. were some to mention at the exibition. Mother of our today's gladiators, shoes from 60's and 70's and Givenchy's caged booties from A/W 08-09 were our favorites.

Sun, is that you?

Cumartesi, güneşin yarattığı enerjiye karşı koyamayıp, kendimizi sokağa attık. Önce Nişantaşı'nda bir iki yere uğradık, sonra arkadaşımın bir dergide gördüğü "Debenhams" marka diye yazılan koltuğa, içimizde şüphe olmasına rağmen, bakmak üzere Cevahir AVM'e gittik. Gittiğimizde tabi ki öyle bir şey olmadığı cevabını aldık, muhtemelen bir baskı hatasıydı, biraz dolaşıp Amerikan Diner tarzı, sevimli bir yer olan Johnny Rockets'a gittik. Hamburgerleri ve milkshakeleri çok güzel, bu seferde milkshakelerinden deneyemeseydim, içimde kalacaktı. Ben çilekli arkadaşım Oreo'lu olandan denedi, lezzeti tartışılmaz :) Kıyafetim rahat, yaşasın palto giymemek :) Eh artık havalar düzeldiğine göre Stam bag'i de dolaptan çıkartmanın vakti gelmiştir dedim, özlediğim oxforlarımı da giydim. Bu arada kendimi aştım, sanırım hiç bu kadar açılmamıştım ( Yüz anlamında :) ), kendimi rahat hissettiğimden emin değilim. Hala geçen haftadan koyamadığım fotolar var, bir türlü blogta kendi hızımı yakalayamadım.

On saturday, the energy from the sun was irresistable so we found ourselves on the street. We stopped by at some places in Nişantaşı first, then we went to Cevahir shopping mall to check out a coach that my friend saw in a mag. We had some doubts about it and we we right, there wasn't anything like that at Debenhams. After a small shopping session, we ended up in a cute American Diner restaurant called Johnny Rockets. Their burgers and shakes are great, I couldn't have a milkshake at my first visit but we tried strawberry and oreo ones, they were delish :) My outfit was relaxed, it was great not to wear heavy coats. I thought it was time for my Stam to get out of the closet and I wore my oxfords which I missed a lot. By the way, I'm head over myself, this is the first time I'm showing my face this much, I felt a little uncomfortable. I still do have photos to post from last week, I can't catch my speed at the blog :)

I heard this dress was a regular Topshop?

Bu elbisenin Topshop'un koleksiyonundan olduğu söyleniyor, doğruluğunu bilen var mı?

İlk bakışta Kate Moss'un Topshop için hazırladığı koleksiyonu çok sevmesem de, Topshop'un mağaza açılışı sebebiyle New York'ta bulunduğu sırada giydiği elbiseleri sevdim, yakışmış :) Sanırım TR'ye artık bu koleksiyonu getirmiyorlar çünkü Nişantası mağazasında artık öyle bir bölüm yok.

At a first glance, I didn't like new Kate Moss for Topshop collection much but some dresses of her collection just started to grow on me when I saw her wearing the pieces during the opening of Topshop's New York store, she was looking good :). I think we won't see her collection in Istanbul anymore :(

Hello little Ms. T

Günaydın :) . Bu hafta sonu pek yapmadığım bir şey yapıp, 2. postumu yapıyorum, heyoo :))) Bu haftadan giydiğim bir kıyafeti, hafta bitmeden paylaşmak istedim. Gecenlerde turuncu kısa trençkotunu nasıl kombinleyebileceğini soran bir yorum vardı, bu postun amacı bu soruya az da olsa yardımcı olmak. Turuncu çok enerjik ve güzel bir renk, neon ve canlı renklerin ön planda olduğu yeni sezona da uygun bir parça. Kıyafetin iç kısmı sade tutulurken, trençkotla ayrı bir hava ve renk katılıp ön plana çıkartılabilir veya trenckotun canlı havası tüm kıyafete yansıtılarak renkli seçimler yapılabilir. Toprak tonları, elektrik mavisi, siyah, sarı tonları, fusya, beyaz ve mor da bu renkle uyumlu olacaktır. Unutmayın turuncuyu 2009-2010 kışında da görmeye devam edeceğiz.

Recently, I've been asked how to combine orange short trenchcoat, this post is aimed to help that question a little. Orange is a cheerful and bright colour and very this spring. You can keep the rest of the outfit plain and popped out the trench or you can go with the flow and choose other bright choices. Earth tones, electric blue,black,yellow hues, fushia,white and purple will go great with orange. Remember, orange also will be seen next AW 09-19 season.

p.s:I hate the shoes in the last ensemble, the shoes can be replaced by the comment owner's beige flats. :)

Pazar günü oylarımızı verdikten, benim deeniz deeniz ısrarlarımla rotamızı kahvaltı etmek üzere Bebek'e çevirdik ancak nerden bilebilirdik ki herkesin rotasının orası olduğunu :) 180 derecelik bir dönüşle Kuruçeşme'deki Aşşk Cafe'ye gittik, denize bakan masalardan birine konuşlandık, manzara, hafif ısıran bir rüzgarda olsa, hava güzeldi ancak servis ve fiyatlar konusunda aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim.

Karnımızı doyurduktan sonra Beymen'in Otim'de yeni açılan seri sonu mağazasına gittik. Geçen kış ve yazdan aklınıza gelebilecek pek çok tasarım parçayı ilk indirim fiyatlarıyla gördük, beğendiğimiz ürünlerde oldu ama bu fiyatlar bizim için fazlaydı. Abiye elbiseler daha uygun fiyata tasarımcı etiketli mezuniyet ve düğün elbiseleri arayanlar için alternatif oluşturabilir. Ayakkabı ve çanta bazında çok beğendiğimiz bir şey olmadı. En üst katta % 70 indirimli bölümden arkadaşım Mary Jane tarzı Marc by Marc Jacobs ayakkabıyı 149 tl gibi uygun bir fiyata dolabına kattı, onun için karlı bir gün oldu, ben eli boş çıktım.

Kıyafetimle ilgili bir kaç söz söylemem gerekirse, tişörtümü aldığımda aklımda olan kalın çorapla elbise gibi giymekti ancak yıkanınca çektiğ için, oversized tişört kıvamına geldi, ben de taytla tamamlayarak değerlendirdim. Mor rengi ve Marilyn Monroe baskısını hoş buldum, bu aralar tesadüfen de olsa, kolayıma geldiği için, tayt olayına sardım sanırım :)

Sunday was the voting day, right after we voted, we went to Bebek to have breakfast but we realize that it was everyone's intension. We had a quick turn and end up at Aşşk Cafe in Kuruçeşme. We sat at a table just next to the sea, the view and the weather was great, we wish we could say the same for service and prices.

After having our breakfast, we headed to the new outlet store of Beymen at Otim. There were a lot of nice designer pieces from last winter and summer collections but they were priced as beginning of the sale and it was too much for us. There were a lot of evening wear pieces which could be an alternative for the ones who is looking for a reduced price designer dress for prom or wedding. We couldn't find any shoes or bags we liked a lot. There were 70 % sale section on the top floor and my friend bought a Mary Jane style Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes at a price of 149 tl, which is very cheap. She was the lucky one but I got out of the store with empty handed.

A few words on my outfit; when I bought that tee, wearing it as a dress with stockings was on my mind but it got shrinked at the washine mashine now I have a oversized tee, wearable with leggings. I love its purple color and Marilyn Monroe print. Lately, I'm wearing leggings a lot because it' easier :)

Cumartesi günü sakin bir gündü, öğleden sonra küçük bir Nişantaşı turu yaptık. Steve Madden'da bir süredir gidip gelip baktığım ama denemediğim motorcu botlarını denedim. Fiyatlar nubuk için 114 tl, deri için 119 tl olarak uygundu, ancak ben deri istiyordum, onun da burnu havaya çok kalkık olduğu için çok hoşuma gitmedi, nubuk olanın derisi olsaydı şimdi ayağımda onlar olurdu :). Akşamında ise milli maç olmasından yararlanıp kız arkadaşımla şarap- dvd keyfi yaparak Bride Wars'u seyrettik, bizim için çok fazla idi, o tur abartılı kızlardan olmadığımız için kendimiz ile gurur duyduk :p . Aslında fotoğraf çektirme havamda değildim ancak yeni tişörtümü de sizlerle paylaşmak istiyordum, bu karmaşık duygular arasında bazı fotograflar çektik. Kedisi olanlar ve vazoların hep devrilmesinden yakınanlar için küçük bir notum var; çiçekleri biraz saplarından kesip, tas gibi bir şeye koyarsanız, kedilerinizin size iş çıkartma olasılığını biraz düşürmüş olursunuz, test edildi, onaylandı. x

On saturday we went to a little windows shopping tour and I checked out the biker boots from Steve Madden. The price was 114 tl for nubuck ones and 119 tl for leather ones, I want the leather version but their front were heading to the north a lot, if the nubuck ones were made in leather , now they are on my feet :) In the evening there were a national football match so I decided to share the evening with my bff watching dvd and drinking wine. We watched Bride wars, it was too much girly and overexaggareted for us, we felt proud of ourselves that we are not those kind of girls :p. I wasn't in the mood for taking photos but I wanted to share my new tee with you, in between of those feelings we took some photos. I have a little note for cat owners, if you're tired of your cat's taking your flowers down all the time, you can cut the flowers and put them in a bowl, it's been tested and approved. x

Here I start..

Sırayla başlıyoruz geçen haftanın kıyafetlerine. Hepimizin daha bahara dönük kıyafetler giymek ve görmek istediğinin farkındayım ama hava bu haftaya göre daha soğuktu, benim gibi çok üşüyen birinin hemen atkı ve eldivenleri atması beklenemezdi. Alalı bir süre olsa da paltom yeni, diğer paltolarıma göre biraz daha ince olduğu için giyememiştim, smokin yakası ve diğer detayları hoşuma gidiyor ancak hala kısa siyah paltoya ihtiyacım var.

As I told you before, I'm starting to post last week's outfits today. I know that including me and all of you wanna wear and see more spring outfits but last week the weather was rather cold than this week. Since I easily feel cold, I can't even think of to get rid of scarves and gloves so quickly. My coat is new but I'm wearing it for the first time. I couldn't wear it before because ,it's thinner than my other coats. I like the tuxedo collar and the details but that doesn't mean that I no longer need a shorter black coat :)

Jumpsuit disaster

Tulumlar bu yaz çok moda ama Kim Kardashian'ın üstündeki değil. Bizlere neyi almamamız gerektiğiyle ilgili süper bir referans :)

Jumpsuits are hot this summer but not this one. It's a great future referance for all of us what not to buy :)
