3rd day of Istanbul Fashion week was dry in terms of attendees' style but Eda Taspınar, who is a presenter of a show about fashion on tv, brought some colour to the event with her Yazbukey Michael Jackson necklace. I was focused on the necklace but thanks to her she warned me to shoot her Chanel shoes for my blog.

Couture shows and the shoes

Paris'te yapılan Spring 2010 Couture şovlarında podyumdaki kıyafetleri pek çok yerde görebilirsiniz, ben böyle durumlarda podyum kadar,  bu etkinliğe katılanların olaya katkısı ile bazen daha fazla ilgileniyorum. İşte Tommy Ton'un (Jak &Jil ) gözüyle sokaktan kareler, sırada NY Moda Haftası var heyecanla bekliyorum!

You can always see what happened on the runway at Paris spring 2010 couture shows but I mostly pay attention to what's outside the shows as well as the clothes. Here are some pics from the streets shot by Tommy Ton (Jak&Jil), I can't wait to see NY Fashion week!

The Gucci Babouska studded sandals

Gucci'nin Babouska koleksiyonunu hep sevmeme rağmen o koleksiyondan bir parçaya sahip olma fikri bana oldukça uzak gözüküyordu.Yılbaşı günü Otim'deki Beymen designers on sale mağazasına yaptığım ziyarette ( ki Beymen Gucci satmıyor normalde) bu bebekler karşıma çıkınca onlara sahip olma fikri artık hiç o kadar uzak değildi ve size daha önce bahsettiğim üzere onları kendime yılbaşı hediyesi olarak aldım. Bu arada, bu postu okuyan erkek arkadaşım büyük ihtimalle beni öldüreceğinden (Kendisi laptopunu benim ayakkabılarımı sevdiğim gibi sevmektedir ancak evde kontrast oluşturacak başka bir şey o an için gözüme çarpmadı :)) onlarla yaptığım bir kombini ne zaman sizlerle paylaşabilirim bilemiyorum :)) .



I've always loved Gucci's Babouska Collection but the idea of having a piece from that collection seemed far far away. On new year's day I went to Beymen designers on sale store ( Normally they don't carry Gucci) in Otim and saw these babies and as I told you before I bought them as a gift to myself. Most probably I'll be dead soon when my boyfriend reads this post ( Because he loves his laptop as I love my shoes but I couldn't find a better place that would make a nice contrast with the shoes :)) so it may take some time to post an outfit with them :).

Konu bazı akımlar olduğunda, nerede durmam gerektiğini hep bilmişimdir ( Çoğunlukla diyelim :)). Louis Vuitton ve Chanel ilkbahar- yaz 2010 şovlarında, önümüzdeki yaz ayaklarımızı şenlendirmesi! salık verilen, 90'lı yılların o şişman sabolarının evrim geçirmiş halleri  beni kandıramaz. Sizleri bilmem ama aynı geçmişte olduğu gibi benim bunları ve türevlerini önümüzdeki yaz da giymeyeceğim kesin.

If the trends are the subject matter, I always know where to stop( Well most of the time :)). When I saw the evolved version of 90's chubby clogs  on Louis Vuitton and Chanel S/S 2010 shows, I thought that they can't fool me, I don't know  your opinion but  like in the past and next summer, you won't see me wearing these clogs or alikes.
