Friday fun

Yine buraları ihmal ediyorum, gittigidiyor konusunu da henuz halledemedim, internet bağlantısı ile ilgili sorunlarım var, çalışıyorum, umarım en geç bu akşam listelemeyi bitirmiş olurum. Bunlar devam ederken, çok ara vermeden, size önceki postumda sözünü ettiğim cuma akşamı kıyafetimi paylaşmak istiyorum. Yine rock chick modum üzerimdeydi ama dinlediğim müzik o değildi, görüntü sizi yanıltmasın :) Fermuar detaylı bir şey ( tişörtüm) edinebildim sonunda , çantamın rengi için de, yine mi mor diyebilirsiniz sanırım, inanın mor en sevdiğim renk değil ama aksesuarlarda kullanınca kıyafete hareket getiren bir renk. Bu posta yine konuk oyuncu aldık, çeşitleme olsun, sizi oyalasın :p :)

In english: I wasn't able to either post or start my sales project yet. I'm having some trouble about my internet connection, I wish this sale thing to be on latest tonight. While I was working on that stuff, I would like to share my outfit from last Friday night out before it was too late . I was in a rock chick mood but don't let this fact to fool you because I didn't listen to rock music :) I got a thing ( my tee) with a zipper at last and I assume you'll say something on my purple bag that I use that colour constantly. I can say that purple is not my favorite colour but it's a nice shade for accessoring your outfit. I had a guest star in this post again just to have some diversity and entertainment.

Weekend summary

Bu haftasonu güzel geçti, cuma günü izinliydim, gittigidiyor olayına giriş yapmamı sağlayacak fotograflar çektik, bu akşam veya en geç yarın ilk 5-6 parçayı koymayı düşünüyorum, içlerinde çok beğenilen bir kaç parça da olacak, sizi haberdar edeceğim. Cuma akşamı If Istanbul'un açılış partisine iştirak ettik, kalabalıktı ama eğlenceliydi diyemeyeceğim. Ordan ayrıldıktan sonra, gecenin ilerleyen saatleri benim için daha eğlenceli bir hal aldı çünkü en sevdiğim dj/produktörlerden John Digweed'i yine dinledim. Müziği her zaman ki gibi kusursuzdu, seti boyunca çığlıklar atıp, bol bol dansettim diyebilirim. Cuma gününün kıyafetleri, daha sonra gelecek, post zamanları ve kronoloji birbirini tutmayacak ne yazık ki. :)

Cumartesi bilindiği üzere Sevgililer Günü'ydü, umarım herkesin günü düşlediği şekilde geçmiştir. Benim için sıradan bir cumartesiydİ, çünkü Sevgililer Günü'ne inanmıyorum ve aksine "o gün" özel bir şeyler yapmak uzun süredir içimden gelmiyor. Bu durum, günü iyi sekilde değerlendirmeme engel değildi tabi, If Istanbul'da gösterimde olan "Turn It Loose" ( Kendini Serbest Bırak) adlı filmi, yönetmen ve yapımcısının katılımıyla izlemek oldukça keyifliydi. Film 2007 yılında Güney Afrika'nın Soweto kentinde düzenlenen, dünyanın en iyi b-boy'unu seçmek için yapılan yarışmanın perde arkasını anlatıyor. Her bir yarışmacının ardındaki hikaye, müzikler, atmosfer ve çekim teknikleri gerçekten etkileyiciydi, gösterimi devam ediyor, benim gibi bu türün meraklılarını memnun edeceğini düşünüyorum ve şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum.

Kıyafete göz atacak olursak, sinemaya gittiğim için, özel bir şey değil ayrıca hava çok soğuk ve yağışlıydı. Bazılarınız eminim yine aynı hırka diyecek ama ne yapabilirim, hem çok kullanışlı, hem seviyorum, sizin de sık sık giydiğiniz ve sevdiğiniz parçalar yok mu?

In english: I had a lovely weekend. I was off on Friday and took some pictures for my online sales project. Friday evening, we've been to If Istanbul's opening party, it was full but I can't say it was amusing at the same time. After that party, we had a chance to listen one of my favorite djs/producers of all time, John Digweed. I became a woo girl ( Remember that episode of How I met your mother? ) and danced a lot until the end of his set. I also had images of the oufit from that night, sorry the chronology of pix and my posts will not overlap :).

Saturday was Valentine's Day as you were all aware, I hope everyone had their dream day. For me it was not different from any other day because I don't believe in Valentine's Day and it's been a long time since I quit doing special things on that day. Ofcourse it wasn't a reason to stay at home, we watched the movie " Turn It Loose" with its director and producer, it was fun. The movie takes us to behind the scenes of b-boy event held in Soweto, South Africa in 2007. The background and stories of every b-boy, music, athmosphere and shooting technics were impressive, you still have a chance to see it and I recommend it to the people who are fan of documentaries, like me .

Considering my outfit, because I went to see a movie, it was casual, the weather was rainy and very cold. I can hear that some of you say same cardigan again but it's very versatile and I love it. Don't you have any favorite items that you wear very often?

Bilindiği üzere New York Moda haftası 12 Şubat'tan itibaren başladı. Konuyla ilgili olarak çeşitli yazıları okurken gözüme ilişen ve beni güldüren bir görüntüyü sizlerle paylaşmak istedim. 14 Şubat Cumartesi günü yapılan Alexander Wang defilesinde koleksiyonu beğenmesem de, tasarımcının modellere mesajını çok sevimli buldum.

In English: As majority of you know New York Fashion Week A/W09 has been kicked off on 12th of February. While I was going through news, I came by a photo which made me laugh a lot. Alexander Wang show was on 14th February Saturday, I can say I'm not a big fan of the A/W 09 collection but I think his message to models was very sweet.

Vintage veya vintage görünümlü kıyafetlere meraklı mısınız? Herkeste olan fabrikasyon kıyafetlerden sıkıldınız mı? O zaman dün geçte olsa keşfettiğim modcloth'un sitesini siz de seveceksiniz. Susan Gregg-Koger'in ikinci el dükkanlardan alışveriş yapma alışkanlığı, 2002 yılında kurduğu websitesi ile bugün işi haline gelmiş. Sitede aksesuarlardan, elbiselere, paltolardan, ayakkabılara pek çok farklı ve hoş seçenek var. Fiyatlarını uygun olarak değerlendirebileceğim sitenin en güzel özelliği, ağırlığa göre değişen fiyatlarla tüm dünyaya gönderim yapılabilmesi. Genelde Türkiye'ye gönderim diğer ülkelere göre biraz daha pahalı olsa da, gönderim ücretini bölüşebileceğiniz arkadaşlarınızla bir deneyebilirsiniz.

In english: Do you like vintage or vintage inspired clothing? Are you bored from the same type of pret -a -porter stuff ? If yes, I think you'll love my new discovery ,the modcloth website, which took me quite a bit to realize. The founder , Susan Gregg-Koger, was buying clothes from thrift stores for herself and it becomes her career. At the website you can find dresses, coats, accessories, shoes.. at reasonable prices. The good part of the site is that they ship to my country, the charges depend on the weight. The shipping rate for Turkey a little pricey, but you can give it a shot by sharing the shipping costs with your pals.

My version of black & white

Bir önceki postun siyah ve beyaz üzerine olması sadece bir tesadüf :) Kıyafetimin basit, kolay ve rahat olması ana fikirdi, elde ettiğimi sanıyorum. Bu kıyafeti giydikten sonra yakası dik duracak bir beyaz gömlek edinmem gerektiğine daha çok inandım. İlk iki resimde fermuar kemerin baskısı altında kalmış, dikkatsizlik :)Bu postu yazarken, hip hop sever misiniz bilmem ama ben let it rock dinledim, son günlerde arka arkaya dinlediğim yegane şarkı. Bu arada yüzdeki yeni uygulama için ne düşündüğünüzü bilmek isterim.

In english:It was just a coincidence that I wrote about black& white outfits on my previous post. My goal was to be simple, clean and relaxed while I've chosen this outfit, I think I'm succeed in a way. After this outfit, I added a crisp white shirt to my shopping list. On first two pics, my zipper looks kinda weird, what a careless gal I am :) I don't know if you are into hip hop but I was listening to "let it rock" while I was writing this post. By the way I'd like to know what's your opinion on the new face application.
