My tummy showing years are a little bit passé but deep inside, my heart is telling me "say it you love the cropped tops " .Yes, but only with high waisted pants, shorts or skirts, in order words I like to see a teeny weeny of skin. If you're not one of the lucky ones who can wear cropped tops easily, try them over a longer top.

Rumi, ParkandCube, Hande.. gibi "kendin yap" (DIY) kraliçelerini gördükçe ve okulda el işi derslerindeki başarısızlığımı düşündükçe, bu tarz çalışmalardan uzak durmam gerektiğine kendimi inandırmıştım ama geçen cumartesiye kadar. Bu boyfriend jean çılgınlığı başlamadan yaklaşık 2 sene önce GAP reklamlarında Carmen Cass'ın üzerinde gördüğüm yırtık pırtık bf jeaninden istemiştim NYC'ye yerleşen bir arkadaşımdan, hem de 4 beden istemiştim ki üstüme yapışmasın diye. Jean geldi ama hiç reklamlardaki gibi değildi (Muhtemelen bir kaç modeli vardı), bir de düz paçaydı, giyemedim attım dolabın arkalarına. Şimdilerde bf jeanler gene ortaya çıktı, ben keyfime göre eskitilmiş bir tane bulamadım ve bir tane giymediğim bir jean üzerinde bu işi denesem ne olur diye düşündüm. İşte göreceğiniz cumartesi gününün hikayesi böyle ortaya çıktı, bir tatil günü, 4 jean, 2 kızın macerası.


I have been reading many DIY queens like Rumi, ParkandCube and Hande and I know about my failiure at handcraft classes back school that's why I kept myself away from all of the DIY projects, until last Saturday. Almost 2 years before this bf jeans craze, I saw Carmen Cass on GAP in destroyed bf jeans and I asked my friend who lives in NYC to get one for me. When I had the jeans ( I ordered them in size 4 so they can fit baggy) they had nothing to do with the jeans I saw ,they were straight leg so I dumped them to deepness of my closet. Now the bf jeans are everywhere and I still couldn't find anything that I liked in destroyed style, I thought how about to rip one of them just to see how it goes so the story you are about the read, is the adventure of 4 jeans, 2 girls on a Saturday.

Kullanılan malzemeler/Things you need:

1.Makas/ Scissors

2. Kalın bir kutu veya tahta blok (Jeani kesersen altına koymak için herhangi bir şey) / A thick box or wood block ( Someting that you can use to put underneath when cutting the jeans)

3. Zımpara / Sandpaper

4. Falçata /Knife

5. Rende ( Elinizle rahat tutup kullanabileceğiniz bir tanesi daha iyi olur, küçük ile zorlandık, piramit şeklinde olanlar da işe yaramaz) / Grater ( It's better to have a big one that you can use easily, it was hard with this tiny one)

6. Bir parça tebeşir , sabun veya beyaz boya kalemi / A piece of chalk, soap or white krayon



Step1: Önce eskitmek istediğiniz yerleri gelişi güzel işaretleyin / First mark the territory that you would like to be destroyed

Step2: Kesmek için belirlediğiniz yerlerin altına kutunuzu koyun /Place the box under the jeans where you would like to cut

Step3: Biz eskitme işlemine ceplerden başladık, falçata ile küçük kesikler atın ve enlemesine kumaşa sürtün / We started the process from the pockets, do some little cuts and move the knive along the pocket

Step 4: Daha eski bir görünüm elde etmek için zımpara veya rendeyi kullanın / To have more destroyed effect use sand paper and/ or grater

Step 5: Bu aşamalardan sonra cebimizin yeni görünümü böyle oldu, kutuyu diğer keseceğiniz bölümlere geçirin ve benzer işlemleri burada tekrarlayın, herkes deneyerek farklı ve kolay yollar bulacaktır, sadece denemekten çekinmeyin :) / After 4 steps here you can see the new look of the pocket area,then move your box to the new areas you'll cut and repeat the steps. Everyone will discover a method of their own, it will take time and practice but never hesitate to try.

Step6: Dizlerde daha iyi bir sonuç almak istiyorsanız attığınız kesiği yukarı doğru yırtmaya çalışın / To have a better results on the knees, just cut a little and tear to upwards.

Step 7: Tataaaa! Tüm bu işlemleri, istediğiniz kadar ve şekilde yaptıktan sonra işte ortaya çıkan sonuç / Voila ! After you've done all of the steps according to your wish here is the result you get.

1. Parmaklarınızı falçatanın uzağında tutun,biz yarımşardan 1 parmak kaybettik sayılır :)) / Try to keep your fingers away from the knife while you're working, we have lost half & half fingers, 1 in total :))

2. Çalışırken bir şeyler illa bir şeyler içeyim diye tutturursanız, onu da kolunuzdan uzaga koymaya çalışın yoksa sonuç limonata ile yıkanmış paçalar olabilir :) / If you insist to drink someting while you're destroying, please put your glass away or you'll end up with pants washed with lemonade :)

3. Bu tarz şeyleri manikür yaptırdıktan sonra yapmayın / Don't do DIY things after you had your nails done.

4. Çok toz çıkacağı için büyükce bir alanda ve örtünün üzerinde çalışmayı unutmayın, çıkan lifler için etrafta bir kedi ( Hepsi değil sanırım ama en azından Lola )bulundurursanız onları afiyetle yiyecektir :) / Since you'll end up with big piles of dust, try to work in a big space and on a table cloth.It would be useful to have a cat around to get rid of the dust because they ( in this case Lola) like to eat them :)

5. 4 jeani parçalamak yaklaşık 3 saat sürdü, çok kolay bir şey değil ( Ağrıyan bilekler ve düşen enerji seviyeleri kendin yapın doğal sonucu) ama doğru şartlar altında yapıldığında keyifli, farklı bir ev aktivitesi arayanlara tavsiye edilir. / It took 3 hrs to destroy 4 jeans, it wasn't that easy ( Sore wrists and low energy levels are natural outcomes) but under right circumstances it was fun, highly recommendable for the ones who's looking for a different stay home activities.

6. Jeanizi daha çok eskitmek istiyorsanız ve kişiselleştirmek istiyorsanız, beyaz boya, çamaşır suyu gibi elementlerden de faydalanabilirsiniz. / If you would like to destroy your jeans more and customize them you can use white paint and bleacher.

7. Yırttığınız jeanlerin daha fazla zarar görmesini istemiyorsanız onları tersten, yastık kılıfının içinde ve hassas programda yıkayın. / If you don't want your jeans to get destroyed more just wash them inside out in a pillow case and delicate programme of your washing machine.

Sevgili K.'nın lacivert trençkotunu nasıl kombinleyeceğini sorduğu yorumu üzerine kendisine uygun olabileceğini düşündüğüm sonuçlara ulaştım. K. öğretmen olduğu için bazı kısıtlamaları olduğunu söylese de, farklı ve daha spor kombinler için hafta sonu ve iş çıkışları var öyle değil mi? :) Lacivert benim pek tercih etmediğim bir renk, nedense ona karşı biraz önyargılıyım, aslında olmamam lazım çünkü artık her renk, her renkle giyilebiliyor, yeter ki sonuç göze hoş görünsün :). Kırmızı, beyaz, mavi tonları, bej tonları, pembe tonları, siyah ( Evet, doğru gördünüz) .. bu renkle kullanılabilir, desenli elbiselerle kullanımını da beğendiğimi söylersem yanlış olmaz sanırım. Bu klasik parçayla oluşturulan kombinleri sevecek ve pek çoğu ile birlikte güzel görüneceğine inandığım kırmızı ruju, siz de yakıştıracak mısınız?

One of my readers "K. " asked me how to combine her navy trench and ofcourse I have some suggestions. She told me that she works as a teacher so there are some regulations about their outfits at school but for what are the weekends and evenings for? :) She can choose her clothes freely during these periods of time. I'm a little bit biased against navy that I shouldn't be. There're no restrictions about mixing colours anymore, anything can go together well, "the outcome" is important. Red, white,blue, nude, pink tones and even black are great with navy, I also like patterned dresses together. In my opinion red lips would be great with some of the outfits, is that also your opinion?

Ok, I haven't been hitting the gym for 7 months now and I feel terrible, why was my gym closed? I couldn't find any place that works for me and summer is about to come :( . Not everyone is like me, I have some lucky readers like Oniomaniac who hits the gym everyday over a year. I wasn't going everyday ( 3-4 times a week) so kudos to her! My gym style was consisted of loose sweatpants, casual tees, sometimes yoga pants and shorts under the knee. If there are some "How I met your mother fans "among you, maybe you'll remember the episode that all 4 of them, get a gym membership and they said Robin looks like a lesbian guardian while at the gym, it almost decribes my look :)) Anyways, Onio isn't like that and she asked me how she looks good even on the treadmill. It's a tough subject I must confess, not like the other ones but there is no tough subject for cadı, there is less research, I did spend some extra time and I found some ideas, I hope that helps. I'm posting some photos from the celeb looks and some brands for those who is looking for an answer how to be stylish at the gym, while doing that I didn't post common brands like Adidas, Nike Woman, Puma.. etc. In addition to that, I've found an funny article on what not to wear at the gym, it's a different view from what to wear so apply it. I would like to make a confession while we're at the subject : I hate the girls who had a long hair and wear their hair down at the gym, you're working-out for god's sake, just do a ponytail or something,now I am releived :)))
