Her şeye rağmen, bugün günlerden cuma

Bugünkü karın gelişi pazardan belli olurmuş, sonunda geldi. Ben de söylene söylene ofise geldim, belli ki pek hareketli bir gün olmayacak. Neyse, kıyafete odaklanalım, üst üste giyinmeme rağmen üşüdüğüm bir kıyafet :) Böyle bir yelek arayıp bir türlü istediğimi bulamamıştım, aradığımı Aberdeen'de buldum, yakasındaki işlemelerle gönlümü bu yelek çaldı. Sahi bu botları da Aberdeen'de bulmuştum, şehre bayılmasam da dolabıma katkısı fena olmamış :).

It was very obvious that we will have snow, you can tell it even from Sunday and finally snow has arrived today. I came to the office in a slightly grumpy mood, looks like it's not gonna be a busy day. Anyways let's focus on the outfit, an outfit that made feel cold even though many layers :) I have been looking for a fury vest and I found this one in Aberdeen, liked it with its embellishments on the collar.I also found these boots in Aberdeen. I wasn't a big fan of Aberdeen but obviously that city helped my wardrobe to expand in a nice way :).

Evde yığılmış, kitaplar dergiler bekleyedursun, ben son  seyahatimde bunlara yenilerini eklemeyi ihmal etmedim. İlki dekorasyon aşamasındakilere ilham kaynağı olabilecek Creative Walls: How to Display and Enjoy Your Tresured Collections diğeri ise vintage giyime ilgi duyanların bilgilerini arttırabilecek Vintage Fashion Sourcebook: Key Looks and Labels and Where to find them .

Alışveriş olayı kitapla sınırlı kalmadı tabi, siyah ayakkabılarıma bu yüksek topuklu, retro KG by Kurt Geiger ayakkabıları mı da ekledim. Keşke şu an ofiste olmak yerine, ayağımda bu ayakkabılarla, evde bu kitapları karıştırıyor olabilseydim. Deli miyim neyim?

While many books and magazines  waiting for me at home nd begging for  their covers to be oponed, 2 new books I bought from my last journey just joined them . One is very inspiring for decoration ideas called Creative Walls: How to Display and Enjoy Your Tresured Collections and the other is a guide book for vintage lovers; Vintage Fashion Sourcebook: Key Looks and Labels and Where to Find Them.


Ofcourse my black shoe collection has expanded after the trip and I came back with these suede high heeled babies from KG by Kurt Geiger in my suitcase. Insted of being at the office ,I wish I was at home and wearing those heels and read through those books right now. Am I insane or what? 

Silence or noise?

İstanbul'da yine insanı yataktan çıkmamaya sevk eden bir hava var. Ben maalesef çıkmak zorunda olanlardanım, en azından bir post yaparak bu durumu değerlendireyim. Günler yavaş geçiyor. Evle ilgili ne zamandır yapmayı düşündüğüm eklemelere hızlı bir başlangıç yaptım  ve kısa sürede hatırı sayılır bir yol aldım, mutluyum. Bu arada, yeni  yıl kararı mı, ne dersiniz bilmiyorum ama  dün yine spora başladım, bu da benim için  yine güzel bir gelişme. Kıyafete gelirsek, Glasgow'da giydiğim bu gömlek şeffaflığı ve arkadaki penceresi ile tatildeki ilk alışverişlerimden.

The weather is so bad in Istanbul that makes you never want to leave your bed. In my case I had to leave the bed so why not making a blog post? Days are slow. I've started doing some additions at home which I have been thinking about a while. It's been a short time but going so fast which makes me happy. By the way, whether you call it a new year resolution or something else, I've started going to gym since yesterday which is also a great progress for me. I wore this outfit in Glasgow night out and, the shirt  is one of the first purchases on my holiday with its sheer fabric and cut out at the back.

Brick walls

Genel standartıma göre tatile çok faza bir şey götürmediğimi söyleyebilirim. Hafif, birbiriyle kombinlenecek parçalar seçmeye özen gösterirken, alışveriş yapacağım gerçeğini nasıl gözardı edebilirdim ki? Bu seyahatte uzun süredir Mango motorcu botlarıma aradığım alternatifleri buldum, ilk çiftimiz French Connection'dan, daha önce bahsettiğim TK Maxx sayesinde dolabıma oldukça hesaplı ve kullanışlı bir katkıda bulundum.  Tarves'deki bu eski benzin pompası bugünkü dekorumuzu oluşturuyor, arkadaki tuğla duvarlarla görüntüsüne bayıldım.

I can say I didn't take a lot of clothes to this holiday, well errm on my regular standarts. I tried to pick light weight and easily combined pieces together. Also how could I disregard the fact that I absolutely would shop? :) In that trip I found the alternatives to my Mango biker boots that I have been looking for quiet sometime. First pair is from French Connection that I bought from TK Maxx , very nice and considerably cheap  addition to my wardrobe. This old gas pump in Tarves and brick walls looked great together and here they are as the decore of today's post.

Cuma geldi! Yağmur yağsa da, trafik berbat olsa da, moralinizi bozmayın haftasonuna çok az kaldı.  Bu hafta sonu 3 haftadır yapamadığım tembelliğin peşindeyim, kızlarla dışarı çıkmak, bavul hazırlıklarına başlamak da aktiviteler arasında. Kıyafet pazar rahatlığında,  saçlar kısaldı ve biraz daha koyulaştı.

Friday arrived! In spite of heavy rain or bad traffic, be strong, weekend is around the corner. This weekend I'm after the laziness that I couldn't get for 3 weeks, meeting with the girls and preparing my suitcase also included. My outfit from last sunday, my hair is shorter and darker now.

Antalya'dan selamlar! Son zamanlarda fotoğraf çekecek zaman bulmak zor olsa da bir öğlen, kaçamak yapıp bu güneşli fotoğrafları çektik. Ben sonbahar renklerini çok beğenince gördüğünüz gibi aralarından seçim yapmak zor oldu :) Bu yapay kürkte sezon başından beri gözüm vardı, üzerinde % 50 etiketini görünce cazibesi daha da arttı. Biraz 70'ler havasında, yeni alışverişlerle bol fotoğraflı bugün ne giydim sizlerle.

Hello from Antalya! Shooting outfits is a hard task lately but one day we ran away in lunch time and shot this sunny photos.  It wasn't easy choosing photos for posting 'cause I really loved autumn colours here so ended up with many. :). This faux fur has been on my shopping list from beginning of the season and when I saw  % 50 discount tag that was mine. Here's today's post with new stuff, a little bit 70's  vibe and many photos.

Herkese selam! Bu fotoğraflar beni blogu ilk yazdığım günlere götürdü, her şeyin duvar önünde başladığı günlere :) Bu aralar çalışma takvimim yoğun, haftasonum bile yok, o yüzden postların araları biraz açıldı. Bu kıyafeti Bebek'te yeni açılan Poupon'un açılışında giydim. İçkinin yanında, biraz sohbet, ve güzel müzik severim diyorsanız, siz de bir uğrayın. Versace for H&M koleksiyonu tarzıyla bana çok yakın olmasa da bu renkli taytı aldım, desenleri ve dokusu fazlasıyla hoşuma gitti. Tayt yeterince gösterişli olduğu için de kıyafetin gerisini daha sade tuttum.

I've been working like a slave lately, even I don't have weekends that's why I can't post much. This outfit I wore to the opening of Poupon a new lounge in Bebek. If you like a little talking and good music with your drink, I suggest you to visit Poupon. Versace for H&M collection wasn't really my style but I really like these leggings with bright colours and nice texture. Since these leggings are loud, I kept the rest simple.

Good morning!  A lazy weekend again leads to Monday. I really don't know if I'm a cat magnet or they somehow find me but lately I got at least one in my shootings  My leopard accesories getting more day by day, this snood is one of the latest addition to the wardrobe.

Bayram tatilinde dolap detoksu yaptım, artık her şey daha ulaşılabilir. Giyilmeyenler açığa çıksa da, eller bazen yine eskilere gidiyor, bu etek gibi.

I made a wardrobe detox recently and every item in my closet is much more accessible now. Although I have many unworn items, sometimes you still stick with the the old ones like this skirt.

Perşembe akşamı Paris Hilton'un adı verilen ayakkabı koleksiyonunun tanıtımı için Esma Sultan Yalısı'nda bir davet vardı,.Biz de bir süredir hareketsiz geçen sosyal yaşantımıza biraz renk katmak için durumu değerlendirdik. Genelde risksiz, platform tabanlı  ayakkabılardan oluşan koleksiyonda, herkesin giyebileceği bir şeyler bulunabilir dersem yalan olmaz. Saatler geçip müzik biraz daha hızlanmaya başladığında, gecenin beklenen konuğu hala gelmediğinden, blog için bu fotoğraf çekmeye karar verdik. İşimiz bittiğinde Paris'i kameralara gülümserken bulup, 1-2 fotoğraf çektikten sonra oradan ayrıldık.

Kıyafetim size fazlasıyla siyah gelebilir ancak bu tüy ve püskül detaylı Derishow çantanın hakkını ancak böyle bir kıyafet verebilir diye düşündüm, sonunda yaz bitmeden çantamı bir kez de olsa kullanabildiğim için oldukça sevinçliyim.

Last Thursday, we've been to the launch party for Paris Hilton's shoe line at Esma Sultan. The collection mostly consists of risk free, simple pairs where everyone can find something. After some hours Paris Hilton attended the night when we just finished this blog shoot so we took some pictures of her and left.

My outfit may seem too black to you but I think this was the right choice for showing my rich detailed bag with feathers and tassels. I am so happy finally  I could use it even once before summer ends.
