Gray is my favorite colour

Sanıyorum gri benim en sevdiğim renk. Açığı, koyusu , her tonu oldukça hoşuma gidiyor ve kıyafetlerimde yüksek bir yüzde oluşturuyor. Bu elbise de uzun süredir dolaptaydı, hatta cadıpazarında  ( Üstümdeki 38 beden, bol durması için büyük beden almıştım, pazardaki 40 beden, 38-40 beden olanlara tam olacaktır) son bir tane daha var, cumartesi akşamı giydim, oldukça sevdiğimi söyleyebilirim. Çanta yine satmak için aldığım bir parça ancak sizlere kısmet değilmiş :)

I think it is because I had many gray pieces from darker to lighter hues. This dress has been waiting in my closet for so long so I got a chance to wear it last saturday night out.

Leopar desenli çoraplar

Puantiyeli çorap ile ilgili yazıya gelen yorumlarda, leopar desenli çorapların nasıl giyileceği konusunda kafalarda soru işaretleri olması, gelecek  yazılarımdan birisini bu konuya ayırmam gerektiğini gösterdi. Ben yorumlarda, tarzım olmasa da, eğer giyecek olsaydım, siyah, beyaz, lacivert, bej.. tonlarında düz kesimli kısa elbiseler, üstler, etek ve şortlarla tamamlanabileceğini düşünüyorum. Çorabın iddiasını daha da arttırmamak için bacaklarınız uygunsa düz babetler, botlar veya yine bacakları kalın göstermesini engellemek adına daha iddiasız, mary jane tarzı ayakkabılar, oxford botlar.. gibi daha maskülen seçeneklerle tamamlanabilir.  Leopar desenli çorap giydiğinizde kıyafetlerinizin çok dar kesim olmaması, 80'lerden fırlamış gibi durmanızı engelleyecektir. Örnek ararken gördüğüm üzere tarzı daha sade insanlar, daha çok benim önerdiğim gibi kombinlerken, çorabın punk halinden dolayı iyice desenleri karıştırıp, saldım çayıra mevlam kayıra durumu da yok değil, ancak iyi göründüğünü kendi adıma söyleyemeyeceğim.

When I wrote about the polka dotted tights, there were questions about how to wear leopard print tights so I decided to make a post about them. As I stated on my comment, they are not my cup of tea but if I'd wear them, I'd pair them with black, white, beige or navy colour pieces,with simple cuts which could be mini dresses, tops, skirts or shorts. Since the print is so bold, it would be nice to wear flat shoes or boots if your legs are suitable, however if you want to avoid the bigger and shorter legs effect, you can wear mary janes and oxford ankle boots which are less bold and masculin. When I looked throught the net, I saw that the people with a similar style to mine usually wore them as I have written, the others with the help of  punk attitude of the print ,wore them with more prints, which I can't say they look good for my taste.

Chain necklace

Bugünü kısa bir postla bitirmek istemedim, zaten elimde geçen haftadan koyamadığım fotoğraflar bulunuyor, o zaman ne duruyorum :) . Oversized gri kazak ararken, bu kazağı buldum, tam istediğim gibi değil, yine de sevdim. Buradaki en önemli detay yeni kolyem, yaz indiriminden almıştım, feminen detaylara eklediğim  sert kız havalarını güçlendirmesiyle hoşuma gitti, nasıl beğendiniz mi?

I don't wanna end today with a little post and I got some pictures to post from last week so what I am waiting for? :) I found this pullover while looking for a gray oversized one, not the perfect piece but will do the trick :) The most important detail here is my new chain necklace that I bought from summer sale. I like how it underlines  the tough girl image with the feminine details, what do you think?

Blue flowers

Havalar inanılmaz derecede güzel,bu bana da yansıyor tabi :) Hafta sonu, bildiğiniz üzere 2. yıl hediyelerimin sahiplerini belirledim, hediyeler Kastamonu ve Kayseri'den okuyucularıma gitti, kendileri yarın hediyelerine kavuşmuş olacaklar, güle güle kullanın kızlar!

Bunun dışında, cumartesi akşamı Urban Festival İstanbul'a gittik.İlk kez Brooklyn Funk Essentials'ı canlı dinledim, eğlenceliydi ancak gecenin geri kalanı zayıf bir katılım ve temposu düşük bir müzikle geçince, sonuna kadar kalamadık ancak bu süre boyunca gecenin sürprizi pamuk şekerlerden yaklaşık 3 tanesini bayıla bayıla yedim :). O geceden sonra, suna bir kez daha inandım ki, ben (biz) gece çıktığımızda daha yüksek tempolu müziklerle eğlenmeyi seviyoruz.

Lately, the weather is increadibly beautiful so am I :)  I haven't done much on weekend, just been to Urban Festival Istanbul. I had a chance to listen Brooklyn Funk Essentials for the first time, it was fun but the rest of the night wasn't. There were very few crowd and the music was so down tempo we couldn't stay more but in that period of staying I eat  almost 3 cotton candies :) . I (we) "again" decided that down tempo music at a night out isn't our thing.

Sizlere cuma günü söyledim ancak tembellikten dolayı Coco Avant Chanel filmine gidemedim, henüz gösterime yeni girmesinin avantajını  ileriki günlerde kullanacağım :).

I know, I told you that I will go to the movie "Coco Avant Chanel" but I decided to stay home, it was the opening weekend here so I used this advantage  :).

Kıyafet geçen haftadan, rahat günlük bir seçim. Tuniği beraber çalıştığım ve çok sevdiğim, 77 yaşında bir beyefendi hediye etti, bazen seçimleri ile beni şaşırtıyor :)

My outfit is from last week, a comfy choice for a daily use.This top was a gift from a gentleman that I work with who is 77 years old, he sometimes surprises me with his gift choices :)
