Günaydın! Bugün durgunum biraz, beklentiler, halletmem gerekenler.. Dün akşam Av Mevsimi filmine gittik, bize gereğinden fazla uzun, durağan ve iç karartıcı geldi, çıkışta Corridor'a uğradık ama orada da fazla kalamadım, sanırım sorun bende :) Bu kıyafet cumartesiden, siyah, ve griye ve biraz leoparla katılan hareket. Unutmadan, ayakkabıları Nişantaşı Akkavak Sokak'taki Park Bravo Outlet'ten aldım, 69,90'a bana oldukça karlı bir alışveriş gibi göründü.

Morning! Today I'm feeling a little bit quiet, I have been waiting for some things to happen and I have other things to take care of..  Last night, we went to see a Turkish movie called Av Mevsimi but it was longer, boring than it should so we decided to grab a drink at Corridor afterwards but I couldn't stay there much longer, I think I wasn't in the mood. Anyways, this outfit is  from saturday night, black, gray and a touch of a leopard. Before I leave, I bought these pumps from Park Pravo Outlet in Nişantaşı for 69,90 tl, it looked like a deal to me.

Any given thursday

Perşembeleri genelde güzel geçer, dün akşam da, bir istisna değildi bizim için. Önce ne zamandır denemek istediğim, Kanyon'da açılan Obika ile başladık geceye. Roma'da bulunmuş bir arkadaşımın, ben böylesini bir orada yedim dediği mozzarellanın monünün belkemiğini oluşturduğu bu İtalyan restoranı, lezzetli yemekleri, servisi ve ambiyansıyla bizden geçer not aldı, içimizden keşke Nişantaşı civarına da açılsa dedirtti. Yoksa bunu yüksek sesle mi dile getirdik? :) Neyse, sonrasında bir perşembe klasiği olan Novo'ya  geçtik. Biraz dışarda oturup, gelip geçenlere baktık, içeceklerimizi yudumladık, bu fotoğrafları çektik, geceyi diğer bir perşembe klasiği Corridor'la kapattık.

Thursdays are generally good and yesterday evening was no exception. First, we've been to Obika , the Italian restaurant I was dying to try for quiet some time. Mozzarella is the focal point of the menu and one of my friends said it's as good as she had in Rome. This restaurant was great with its yummy food, service and ambiance and we wished that we would have another one close to our neighbourhood. Later, we've been to another thursday classic "Novo" . We sat outside, just watched the people walked by, had a cocktail and took these pics.The end of the night was another thursday location called " Corridor".

Populer fotoğrafçı ikili  Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin Balmain'in 2010/11 kampanyasını Kate Moss eşliğinde çekerken farklı bir uygulama yapmışlar. Kimsenin haberi olmadan casus tipi kameralar yerleştirip Kate Moss'un performansını ayrıca görüntülemişler. İsmi Everglade olan bu kısa film adını tema müziği olarakta kullanılan Antony and the Johnsons şarkısından alıyor. Sürrealizm ve farklı algı katmanlarını içeren bu filmin illustrasyonları Jo Ratcliffe tarafından yapılmış ve ortaya yarı korku,yarı Disney tadında farklı bir çalışma çıkmış. İyi seyirler!


Popular photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin  worked  as spies when working with Kate Moss on the Balmain's AW 2010/11 campaign. They made a set up with surveillance type of camera and captured the Moss at work. The short film called Everglade has the same name with its soundtrack which is an Antony and Johnsons' song. The movie has surrealism and the different layers of perception and illustrated by Jo Ratcliffe and fells like a half horror, half Disney. Enjoy!
