Happy like polka dots

Suada'da geçirdiğim tembel bir günün ardından evdeyim. Bu kadar rahatlık hissi ve dün post yapamamış olmanın birleşimi, bana şu saate bu postu yazdırıyor.Önümüzdeki haftadan itibaren 25-28 Ağustos'ta gerçekleşecek İstanbul Moda Haftası sebebiyle, bu blog oldukça yoğun günler yaşayacak,umarım bu seneki yolculuğumda da beni yalnız bırakmazsınız. Bu aralar cici elbiselere ve feminen bir görünüme merak saldım, bu kıyafette onlardan biri.

I had a lazy day at Suada, now I'm at home. This relaxed feeling and lack of posts from yesterday is forcing me to write this post at this hour. From next week this blog will go through a busy time because of Istanbul Fashion Week which will be held between 25th -28th of August so hope you'll be joining me in this journey. I'm really into girly dresses and feminen looks lately so this outfit is one of them.

Gunduz notr tonlarda ayrı  parçaları rahat bir görünüm için birleştirirken, mesela bir adet rugan stilettoyla tamamlamayı, gece ise yine yalın kesimli bir elbiseyi, ışıltılı aksesuarlarla tamamlayı unutmayın.

Bir pazar günü böyle geçti

İyi haftalar! Sıcak sebebiyle bu hafta da rotamız havuz oldu. Derimiz buruşana kadar suda kaldık, yan gelip yattık, geçen hafta bahsettiğim kedi yavrularını sevdik ama bu sefer sizlere de göstermek için onları fotoğrafladık . Saat 17:00 gibi eve hareket ettik, akşam da indirimin son kırıntılarını  Cevahir AVM'de süpürüp, Nando's Peri Peri de yenen acılı tavuklarla bir pazar gününü daha noktaladık.


Hello! This sunday, because of the hot hot weather we've been to pool again. We stayed in water until our skins had creased, we laid down,  showed some love for the kittens at the pool but didn't forget to picture them to show you. We returned home around 17:00 o'clock and tried to get last crumbles of the sales at Cevahir Shopping mall. After eating pretty spicy chicken at Nando's peri peri another sunday was over for us.

Bugün kendi cinsimin gözleri şenlensin istedim, ikinci postumu cuma güzeli ödülünü fazlasıyla hakeden Jon Kortajarena'ya ayırdım. Fotoğraflar H&M sonbahar 2010 kampanyasından, böylece erkek modasına da aynı post içinde değinmiş oluyoruz :)

Holly Fulton bu sabaha kadar duyduğumda "o kim ola ki "diye bir cümle sarfedeceğim biriyken, tesadüfen ulaştığım websitesi sayesinde artık bu kelimeleri söylemeyeceğim.  Her yeri saran deve tüyü akımından sonra renkli grafik desenleri, mizahi tasarımları ile ilhamını 80'lerin cinema du lookundan alan sonbahar/kış 2010 koleksiyonu, tamamlayıcı aksesuarlarıyla da hoşuma gitti. Özellikle kolyelerinin hep elimin gittiği KJL kolyeme alternatif olacağını düşündüğüm, Holly Fulton the İskoçya Moda Ödülleri'nde yılın genç tasarımcısı ödülününün yanı sıra , İngiltere moda ödülünü  ve  Elle Style Awards'unda 2010 birincisi. Fashion East ile geçirdiği iki sezonun ardından, kendi markasını oluşturan Holly Fulton'un  adını ilerde sıkça duyacağımız garanti.

Name Holly Fulton means nothing to me until I've found her website by coincidence. After the colour camel movement in fall collections, it was refreshing to see nice graphics, amusing designs inspired by cinema du look of 80's. I really like the complementary accessories with the outfits, especially the necklaces which could be alternatives to my KJL statement necklace that you all get bored :). Holly Fulton is the winner of Young Designer of the Year Awards at the Scottish Fashion Awards, a British Fashion Award and has won the Elle Style Award for New Designer 2010. This is her first season showing solo following two seasons with Fashion East.” It's very obvious that we'll continue to hear about her in the future.

Diğer dünya şehirlerinde, her yere bisiklet veya motorsikletle şık şıkıdım giden Cathrine Baba gibi karakterlere imrenerek bakarken, bir bisikleti bile olmayan ben, teselliyi  bisikletli elbisemi sırtıma geçirip  kendimi Istanbul sokaklarına atmakta buldum.

Most of the world cities have women with great styles like Cathrine Baba who drives a bike or a motorcycle to everywhere. Since I don't have either of them, all I could do was, wearing my two wheeler dress and run to the streets of Istanbul.

Pazartesi sayıklamaları

Yine "en sevdiğimiz gün" geldi ama bir hafta sonu geçti. Cuma iki kadeh şaraptan sonra, klima karşısında uyuya kalıp askere gidecek arkadaşlarımızı koltuktan uğurladık. Cumartesi Chanel ve Mac (Çok sevdiğim, limitli üretim Black Russian :( )  göz kalemlerimin bir şekilde ortadan kaybolması ile kendimi Sephora'ya atmak istedim, tam hepinizin bayıldığı mavi ojeye elimi atmıştım ki, sevgilimden gelen telefonla üst kata doğru koşmaya başladım. 5 dk. sonra gösterilecek "Başlangıç" adlı filmde bulduk alelacele kendimizi. İnsanın hayal dünyasının sınırlarını zorlayan bu film beni biraz sıktı mı ne, şimdi Sephora'dayız başladığım yerde. Bu sefer onların suya dayanıklı kalemine şans veriyorum, nasılsa kaybediyorum diyorum. Çıkışta,  aylardır karşıya ( Bostancı) taşındıkları evlerine çağıran arkadaşım, "akşama bize gelin" diyor. Bir şort, bir tişörtle nemli Istanbul havasında, kendimizi atıyoruz onlara. Ne zamandır görmediklerimiz de orada, hasret gideriyoruz. Pazar günü benim su kenarı isteğim tavan yapınca gittik bir havuza. Hava sıcak ama güneş  bizden yana değil, bir görünüyor, bir gidiyor kara bulutların arkasına. Üstüne üstlük hafif bir yağmur da çiseliyor utanmazca. Bir anne kedi ve 6 yavrusu günümüzü aydınlatıyor, ara ara onları izliyoruz, ne kadar da mutlu ve tasasızlar :) Saat 17:00 civarı artık eve gitme vaktidir diyorum, akşama güzel bir yemek yiyelim konusunda hem fikiriz. Eve uğrayıp kendimize geliyoruz, akşamı Big Chefs Tünel'de yenen yemekle bitirip, dolu ve mesut midelerimizle evin yolunu tutuyoruz.

We finished another weekend and it's "our favorite day" again. On friday, after 2 glass of wine, we fall asleep on the couch and missed our friends' farewell party. I lost 2 eye pencil lately one is from Chanel and one is from Mac (I loved limited Black Russian a lot  ) and wanted to go Sephora. While my hands were on the Blue Curaçao nail polish that every one loved, my boyfriend called me and said the movie “Inception” will be on in 5 minutes. I rushed to the top floor but this movie on the edge of our dream worlds couldn’t get me, in fact I’ve found it rather boring. After my Sephora shopping ( I gave a chance to their waterproof eye pencils, I lost them anyway ), I had a call from my friend that moved to the Asia side and she said come to us for dinner. We eagerly accepted this offer because it’s been some time that we didn’t have a chance to meet. On Sunday, going to a pool side, looked like a bright idea. However, the sun wasn’t agreed with us although it’s 34 degrees, it went and came back again and again. We had a few drops,too and decided it’s not our lucky day. Thanks to a mommy cat and her six kittens made our day, they were so playful and happy. The our pool time was up around 17:00 o’clock and we headed to home for refreshing up and finished the evening with a yummy dinner at Big Chefs Tunel.

Eylül sayıları geliyor

Ağustosu da hızla tüketirken, moda dünyasının heyecanla beklenen Eylül sayıları da birer birer gözükmeye başladı. İlk gözüme çarpan kapak Vogue İngiltere, bir tanemiz Kate Moss ve Burberry paltoyu bir arada kullanarak güvenli bir yol izleseler de, ben bu sayıyı aldım gitti :))

We're consuming the month of August too fast and as time goes by we're so close to the September issues which are top level important at fashion world. First cover that caught my eye is from Vogue UK, they've chosen a safe path with the one and only Kate Moss in Burberry coat but they've already "sold" this mag to me :)))
