When punk meets funk

Heey!  Ben biraz hastayım, işler de üstüme geliyor biraz da uyuzum,dolayısı ile ben toparlanana kadar sizi Anja Rubik'in Vogue Nippon Haziran 2011 sayısı için kamera karşısına geçtiği editoryalle baş başa bırakıyorum. 8. fotodaki  siyah Balenciaga botlar son zamanların belli ki sevilen simaları, fotograflar da Japon androjenisinin güzel bir yansıması olmuş.

Heey! I'm a little bit sick and  a bit cranky about my work overload lately so'till I get back, I thought it's a better idea to leave you with this great editorial starring Anja Rubik for Vogue Nippon's June 2011 issue.   The Balenciaga boots on the 8th  photo seem to be the  "it boots" lately and photos are the nicest images of  Japanese androgyny.

A year in retro fashion

2010 yılı tam anlamıyla bir retro geçidi oldu.  Madmen dizisi, Louis Vuitton , Miu Miu, Chloé moda evleri sayesinde, 50'ler, 60'lar, 70'ler hayatımızdan eksik olmadı, krepeli saçlar, kabarık etekler, triko hırkalar havada uçuştu, e tabi bu yıllardan ilham alan  çekimlerde yıl içinde fazlasıyla dergilerde yer aldı.

2010 was a year of retro parade. Thanks to madmen series, fashion houses  like Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Chloé, 50's, 60's and 70's were in our lives all year around thus we have lots of editorials inspired by these retro looks.

Bir pazar günü böyle geçti

İyi haftalar! Sıcak sebebiyle bu hafta da rotamız havuz oldu. Derimiz buruşana kadar suda kaldık, yan gelip yattık, geçen hafta bahsettiğim kedi yavrularını sevdik ama bu sefer sizlere de göstermek için onları fotoğrafladık . Saat 17:00 gibi eve hareket ettik, akşam da indirimin son kırıntılarını  Cevahir AVM'de süpürüp, Nando's Peri Peri de yenen acılı tavuklarla bir pazar gününü daha noktaladık.


Hello! This sunday, because of the hot hot weather we've been to pool again. We stayed in water until our skins had creased, we laid down,  showed some love for the kittens at the pool but didn't forget to picture them to show you. We returned home around 17:00 o'clock and tried to get last crumbles of the sales at Cevahir Shopping mall. After eating pretty spicy chicken at Nando's peri peri another sunday was over for us.

Eylül sayıları geliyor

Ağustosu da hızla tüketirken, moda dünyasının heyecanla beklenen Eylül sayıları da birer birer gözükmeye başladı. İlk gözüme çarpan kapak Vogue İngiltere, bir tanemiz Kate Moss ve Burberry paltoyu bir arada kullanarak güvenli bir yol izleseler de, ben bu sayıyı aldım gitti :))

We're consuming the month of August too fast and as time goes by we're so close to the September issues which are top level important at fashion world. First cover that caught my eye is from Vogue UK, they've chosen a safe path with the one and only Kate Moss in Burberry coat but they've already "sold" this mag to me :)))

Cats

Kedili deli teyzeler hepimizin yaşadığı mahallelerde bulunabilecek insanlardır ve benim de yaşlanınca onlardan biri olma ihtimalim yüksektir :)). Bu editoryali görünce olası geleceğim aklıma gelse de, kompozisyon, renkler ve tabii dünya güzeli kediler de pek hoşuma gitti. Bu acaip editoryalde Siri Tollerod, Miles Alridge tarafından Vogue Italya Mayıs 2008 sayısı için kamera karşısına geçmiş.

The crazy old women with many cats could be found in every neighbourhood and there is an huge possibility for me to be a one of them when I'm old :) . This editorial reminded me my potential future but I also loved the concept, the colours and ofcourse the beautiful cats.
